I was traveling this winter to Slovenia and visited Ljubljana, the capital. There was no snow, luckily for me, the girl from the coast that saw it only few times in her life and never felt very comfortable around it, but it was cold and not very adjust to wander the streets a lot.
Nevertheless, with my faux furry coat and a head bend it was good enough to walk along the beautiful canal of the river Ljubljanica that flows through the centre of the city.
I got the tip from a friend what should I visit and so we went to the more and more famous Cat Caffe. I heard about it before but never had a chance to experience it. When we entered the cafe 6 cats where walking around the room between the legs and heads of the visitors who were having their drinks and conversations as usual. The cats were all around, sleeping, eating or playing with each other or with guests.
The special one, Jonas, ordinary black cat, was jumping around the tables and to the guests laps wanting some cuddling. He definitely reminded me of my Freddie who was a little black kitten I found near one restaurant together with his brother. The waiter of the restaurant took the brother and I took Freddie. We kind of rescued them because the rest of their siblings were killed. Now he is the master of the neighbourhood.
I enjoyed so much that we returned once more to buy some souvenirs and take some photos and videos. Somehow when I was looking around all the guests were smiling all the time and looked happy so I concluded that the Cat Caffe in Ljubljana is worth visiting again and again.
